Sounds like a scam, but could be wrong.

Definitely looks dodgy to me. standard scam is that the cheque 'appears to clear' but is subsequently bounced by the international clearing system. By then you are without goods, and normally have agreed to pay a wholly fictitious shipping company to deliver the goods.
Also, would you really want to give phone number, address etc to a complete stranger abroad. Looks like identity fraud to me.
    Still, maybe I'm just paranoid.
All I do know is that on a number of forums people are reporting loads of interest from abroad.

Just read your Krell advert, its a beaut.

I've now put ""Notice to scammers, your efforts are pathetic, so dont bother." on my adverts.

gets worse, just had this, after I said 30 days to clear for cheque.

"Thanks for getting back to me ontime i will like to inform you that it does not take less than 2-3 day for it to clear cos when i contacted my bank they made me known about it and if only again you can do express clearance so you can cashed it immediately."

I have now said only acceptable payment will be cash insured in post so we'll see. This is becoming a pain. I suggest we all start to put too good to be true ads around to piss the scammers off, and on the serious ads, no scammers etc.

....surprise !!! he wants to back out.....

Just read your krell ad, most amusing.

It could back fire, as people may get the idea that you are a scammer.
