I have some newly acquired Audio Physic Virgos so I need to move these wonderful SD Acoustic SD1 speakers on. I'd honestly put them up against any £2k RRP modern speaker ... and I'd expect the SD1s to win on sound quality. 4 foot tall, 15 inches wide, about 12 inches deep. Must weigh in at 70lb+ each. Ribbon tweeter (superb!), 5 inch mid and 10 inch woofer. Tri-wired terminals. True classics from the 1980s/90s - Recently re-foamed mids and woofers so these are in top-notch working order. A bit on the aesthetically challenged side when 'naked' but with the covers on (which sounds fine btw) they look a lot like Vandersteens. Very easy to drive - my Leak Stereo 20 vintage valve amp has no problems at all, and sounds wonderful!
