    right.
ive just installed an sme 3009 on my thorens and have to adjust the springs to level it all off because of the added weight.
ive propped the table up level so i can get underneath and removed the springs.
on closer examination all seems well , rubber grommets in tact etc but ive also noticed some plastic shimms.
their like 1mm thick plastic washers but they slant off to a knife edge at one side.
they seem to be designed to throw the springs off centre so should the off set be towords the spindle centre or towords the outside of the sub shassis?
or do i just throw them in my tool box and forget about them?
    cheers,
    Rob.
