ive got speaker stands that are just a wee bit to short.

ive toe'd them out as much as i can and they still seem a wee bit short. also the angle at which they are pointing upwards quite noticable.

    question,

any ideas how to make them taller without buying new ones?

    cheers,

    Rob.

paving slabs, breeze blocks, floor tiles, etc...
not aestheticly pleasing but cheap and they'll do the job.

    cheers

    cheers julian.
i was thinking along these lines my self however "sand box" keeps popping in to my head for some reason.

i recon garden patio slabs will be a lot easier though...

    cheers,
    Rob.

If cash is an issue (aint it always) then the slabs are certainly one of the cheapest options. You can always paint them

i suppose i could get my pick and shovel and dig a small hole under my sofa. however i may have to get a few inches taken off my legs other wise, whilst in the seated position , my knees wouldent be accoustically ballanced with the room. also i wouldent be able to see past them to watch telly.

that sounds like a brilliant idea.

a vibrating chair would be the boy however there is the issue of unwanted vibrations getting back to my kit.

perhaps mana should do a line in vibrating chair isolation........
