I don't know if I've ever posted my set up here but there have been a few changes recently anyway, so I might as well list it now:

    LP12/Syrinx PU3/Ortofon Kontrapunkt 'b'
    Marantz 4100 OSE dvd player
    TagMclaren DAC20
    Naim 32.5/hicap/160
    Nakamichi AV10
    Linn Kabers
    Linn Centrik centre speaker
Mordant Short MS20i as rear speakers
Speaker cables are NACA5, FFRC and Gale
Interconnects from Chord and QED, plus a very nice set of Zanash's L'argent Plus with Eichmanns that I made myself.

Plus a Target tt wallshelf and seriously ugly Target rack.

    All the best,

    Goomer.

Cheers, Ian. It's the directional cables that make all the difference:D
Nah seriously, the P9's a belter. And the recent upgrade from a Creek OBH-8SE/Reson Reca to the Tom Evans/Sumiko was a major eye opener. I'd pimp my g/f for The Groove, but sweet as she is, I doubt it would raise the necessary two grand. Way too much moola.
Havin' said that, what's a blowjob from a blonde 23-year old Russian chick worth? Muhahahaha!!!!!!!!!

New to this forum also... I know this akin to comparing d**k sizes but here's my rig for the record:

    Arcam CD73T

    Arcam A85

    Arcam T61

    Monitor Audio Gold Reference 20's

    Ecosse interconnects/QED speaker cabling(bi-wired)

...currently weighing up the power cabling myth with a pair of borrowed TCI Super Constrictors (and so far NOT convinced folks...)

Just walked into the only HiFi-shop in my town this afternoon,
and spotted a mint s/h Rotel RT935ax tuner.

So, I decided to take it home, and place it on my spare bottom shelve.
It sounds remarkebly good I must say! :)
(not as edgy/compressed as the Denon and Sony tuners I had some years ago)

well, I thought I might as well update my systempics then...

Sonneteer Campion, Naim CDX, Rotel RT935ax,
    on Quadraspire system support.

Ok, I've got an up to date (for now!) pic:

I've rearranged the room a bit to get the rack into a position that I can put the amp on the top (otherwise the cat may decide that it makes a good place to sit).

Toshiba SD-330e Multi Region DVD (not shown)
PC with Terratec Aureon Sky 5.1

re your photo - do you find you get a bit of an inbalance in the sound using that particular speaker pairing??

BTW Lodger. Noticed you have GR20s. Tony (WM) had a pair which he did quite a lot of MOd's on. Might be worth giving him a shout if you fancy a bit of DIY :)

    I didn't remove a thing...

The marantz name is very subtly indented into the metal (yes, metal) fascia of the CD16. It's in the middle, directly above the display, in line with the open/close button.

    As for phat...

The CDP was 13kg before I went silly with the dynamat. The amp is 28kg  :yikes: :respect:

By the way, michaelab, you need to rename this smily in the light of present opinions on the board of the S300: :NADowner:

I know what you mean but renaming smilies is a bit of a PITA because it measn posts that have used them in the past look wrong. I guess they'll just have to keep their historical significance :)
