Nah seriously, the P9's a belter. And the recent upgrade from a Creek OBH-8SE/Reson Reca to the Tom Evans/Sumiko was a major eye opener. I'd pimp my g/f for The Groove, but sweet as she is, I doubt it would raise the necessary two grand. Way too much moola.

I didn't remove a thing...

The marantz name is very subtly indented into the metal (yes, metal) fascia of the CD16. It's in the middle, directly above the display, in line with the open/close button.

As for phat...

The CDP was 13kg before I went silly with the dynamat. The amp is 28kg :yikes: :respect:

By the way, michaelab, you need to rename this smily in the light of present opinions on the board of the S300: :NADowner:

 

I know what you mean but renaming smilies is a bit of a PITA because it measn posts that have used them in the past look wrong. I guess they'll just have to keep their historical significance
