Sky Blue / Wonderful Days - Superb Korean Anime

Hey folks,

Just a quick heads up if you haven't seen this film already. Strongly recommended. Lovely mix of CGI backdrops & hand-drawn characters. The storyline isn't too obtuse/crazy either. The R2 transfer is very good and the DD 2.0 soundtrack is pretty amazing too (especially as its only 192kbps).

Definitely one for all you Anime fans out there.

I agree, a very beautiful film with superb music.

But with a plot that despite the reviews insisting is 'confusing' is actually as basic as they come. Which I found a refreshing change from the average incomprehensible 'high concept' Anime that Japan loves to create.

I'd give Sky Blue a 'must see movie' status.

 

Agreed - the plot is very generic, but at least it is comprehensible, unlike most Japanese Anime!
