    I am up :).

I am not sure what time I actually went to sleep, but I was in bed by 12:00 and just listened to some music [head phones], probably nodded of at 2.

get up at 5.30 am , that gives you 5.5 hours tp source drivers :)

AT , I work in a factory we start at 7.00....gone to 7.00 (night +days)

if you get there at 7.05 am (or pm) ...you loose a days (or nights) work.....+make youself unpopular (the ist /2nd time (sack the 3rd time))

    I think its just habit

I don't hate the work, I meet a lot of intesting people......but like i say it does involve discipline......ten mins late isn't good enough

    that's bad shit....

In previous roles I would work 8-4 / 10-6...( 1/2 hour lunch) I'd always be a little early / late...but now I generally work what I want...normally get in about 8:45 - 9am...almost an hours lunch then leave at 4:30...

and I sometimes do a bit of work between... :D

    Quote from someone or other:

From the minute I wake up, my mind is active, busy, inventive. Then I arrive at the office.

I used to leave just after 7...but now it's closer to 8am - but then I take my lady to work and picker her up (en-route) and she doesn't finish until 5 - so, I basically leave work around 4:30pm for that

not sure as I would want to take anything Internally for some thing thats going on EXTERNALLY.

Thats why I have never taken stuff like kal*s or whatever it is for stress........I rather go for a run......or remove the issue in the first place....

A bit off topic but my job.....

    the good

I was not in an especially defined roll last thing last night......I was asked by a line operater to take some ones place on a amchine whist they went to the loo....

The floor managaer saw me 5 mins later ...... said "your like dog s**t , Dave; you get everywhere!" :D

He could have had my b***s for doing what I did........he didn't though.

    the bad

after nights your always washed out....

I started back Monday, eventuamly drifted off to sleep about 3.00 am......the alarm went at 5.30.....as larkrise says your body clock all out of sync

That must be one of the most unpleasant situations known to man..... :(

yeah, takes your body 4 days to adjust to working days/ nights...if your shift pattern alternates every 4 days then it cant be good imo...

if your floor manager was to complain then just tell him you were following orders, simple as... ;)

No, I took a request from a line leader ie a lesser authority than his previoius request.......but it was a judgment call on my part

    Just one of those things.

The lad could see where I was coming from.

Hopefully I won't get to the stage where the only thing I think about in the morning is where my next pint is coming from.

That said all I am thinking about right now is that pint :(.
