The links button on the top right does not align properly.

At least 10 characters are required to post a reply.

The links button looks aligned to me (using FireFox) but I just checked with IE6 and it appears wrong there - oh dear...IE6 not rendering things correctly again :D

I'll see if I can change it to work around the IE6 bug :p

The 10 character minimum reply is a feature but I think it's configurable - will check.

I noticed that when you select the button to view the last post of a thread, it actually opens the screen too far down, on the 'Quick Reply' section.

But hey, it looks good anyway :D .

That's buggy IE for you, doesn't support CSS properly, spend most of my day getting around poor CSS support by M$ browsers, ditch them, install Mozilla, problem solved.

mr cat - the timezone setting was wrong this morning. The "links" button alignment problem is definitely a bug in the way IE6 is rendering the CSS/DHTML for the popup menu but it's not clear what a workaround would be.

Yep Microsoft not following standards as per usual. I tried to validate www.msn.co.uk last night as a joke at W3C. It came back with 500 errors.

Hmm, whether its buggy or not, 85% of people still use IE, so it would be in your best interests to fix it / **** it up (whichever way you want to look at it) :p

BTW yes the 10 char thing is an option/feature.

That'll be because they can't be bothered / don't know how, to change to a browser that works and supports standards.

But true, you have to make sure your site works for these buggy browsers and its a right royal PITA.

Its the pain of my life. I worked on a project for Manchester University at work a month back. The site was done in pure CSS, however towards the end we discovered a little bug in I.E, which meant we had to add tables. It was really annoying as the Bobby specifications really limit you to how many tables you can use.

Microsoft are just being lazy now because they think they have won the way. However they shall have a shock then Mozzila gets bigger and bigger.

Click on "links" and choose the "Edit Avatar" option. This also appears in the user control panel.

Minimum chars per post now set to 1 (the absolute minimum).

As for the "links" button, I tried a few things over on zerogain.org and no joy. Since I'm not well versed in CSS and DHTML I'm just going to have to leave it so you'll either have to lump it or switch to a proper browser :D . I've mentioned it to the creator of this style and am waiting for a response.

I only get the option shown below for the avatar. Basically it looks to me like I stick with it, or not have one at all.

As for the button not lining up, I am not bothered about it personally. It certainly wont make me switch browser, but its not something that is really going to pray on my mind.

Also, the upload doesnt seem to work.

Previously I only got one alert for a new post to a thread, I'd get an alert and then wouldn't get another alert until I came back. Now I get an alert for every post. The weird thing is that the mail still contains this statement -

"There may be other replies also, but you will not receive any more notifications until you visit the forum again."

Any clues? It's killing my inbox (well not quite, but you get the idea).
