Hi. After the death of my old sound card, I replaced it with a (great) Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface. After my computer went back to normal with the new hardware, I decided to say bye to my beloved Windows 7 Ultimate OS and installed Windows 10 22H2.

I must say that everything is working great after the changes, but there's something I find slightly annoying (and never happened before). In an audio playing situation, with any software (Windows Media Player, Audacity, Foobar2000... you name it), every time I click the "stop" button, the last bit of audio being played (around half of a second, I'd say) repeats once before stopping. I don't know what may be causing this and how to stop it from happening. I appreciate your input. Thank you in advance!

Have you tried contacting Focusrite? Their Tech Support used to be very good, albeit I haven't had to contact them for many years.

My first thought is to check what drivers you have. I think that the current 2i2 (V4?) is supposed to be compliant, so doesn't need its own drivers. Whether that's the issue I don't know.
