When "the nation" was snowed in so bad recently, we got next to none here!

Well it's just started chucking the stuff down! Setting thick and fast!

Really is coming down heavy! :)

well stopped now. The way it pelted down there I was expecting it to go on for longer.

Rob, have you heard G.L.C ??? Newport hip hop band. Bit of a piss take but seem to be taking off quite a bit (Touring with the streets, played on radio1 etc...). If you know newport at all you should "get" them.

Had a light dusting down here, looks like someone's sprinkled icing sugar all over the back patio and garden. Came down quite rapidly for about 20 minutes earlier on, but it's stopped now and the road outside just look wet now as if it's just rained.

Yep same here. Seems it was a false start. Was really heavy for a while, but soon died off.

Guess I'll have to see about getting a refund on these 40 loafs of bread, 30 cans of beans, 40Kg of coffee, etc etc...

Nice photo Robert. I guess you're all used to it up there. Snow is rare here in Somerset these days. We get it about one day a year and it doesn't usually last for long. The Met. Office have promised us some today but I'll believe it when I see it.

Well, the snow went PDQ in Exeter - what a jip! They reckon there's more on the way though...

ahhh, it's lovely and sunny here in bedford... small yellow and purple things are even starting to poke their way out of the ground. **** the snow and **** winter. bring on the spring and summer with the rise in skirt lengths and exposure of midriffs that they cause.
    cheers

I'll join ya for a red - never got on with white personally (it's too bitter/dry? tasting for me).

I personally PREFER winter for girlwatching - my metabolism means I overheat from spring to autumn and thus the LAST thing I can think about is women (though I still look) - midrifs rule! Ummm.....

He he - just noticed you're Bristolian - me, Ilockyer and a few other non-ZG people are up there on Friday 5th seeing the Dropkick Murphies :) Should be a good laugh :)

Have you ever been in the Bag O Nails pub?
