Goodness, it's snowing  It's not settling though :(
Spoke too soon Where did the outside world go? Everything beyond the window is now white and a tad dark
Bloody snow - where do I switch it off? I'm moving this weekend and don't want to be trudging through snow or walking through blizards. Anyone know if it's snowing in Southampton? Martin
snow is cool mk blood twats in cages, why do they need to go so slow?? anyway heres my lil back garden another here - http://www.penance.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/snow2.jpg
Looks like the big man upstairs has spilt his powder here! Loadsa the stuff! I was woke by my brother finding it funny to belt a snowball at my head.... looking out the window there's a growing group of kids on the hill across the road from my back garden. They must be on about their 50th trip to the top, to slide back down again.
COOOOOOOL!!!!! My mate Paddy's taken a chainsaw exam for his farming work; I'd love to try one of those - ever since seeing Derek go apeshit with one in Bad Taste! Well, it snowed for 2 hours this morning here in Exeter. Outside now looks like Tellytubby land again (sun out, green grass). How boring. I might move to Scotland and have some REAL weather
I don,t know if you would like it here dom its stilling snowing and the snow outside is roughly 2 feet deep It has been snowing non stop for nearly 2 days Robert
Nice one. I on the other hand was stuck at work till 21:30 last night because of the 'pesky' snow . Bath university is on top of a hill and the roads down off it were stuck solid earlier, not sure if there was an accident or what. Thankfully today things seem OK. Oh, and Chris Moyles has kindly filled me in on the Southampton front with he breakfast show from there this morning .
Took a photo of the back garden this morning before going to work, but never got the opportunity to post it up here until now... A rare event indeed to see this much snow in this part of the country. It's all melted away now though.
Not quite Merl! The garden is on a slope, but you see that wooden cross-hatched fence towards the bottom with a gap in the middle? There's a clump of bushes just immediately beyond the fence i.e. where that big tree towards the right appears to be rising up from, well that clump of bushes is the end of my garden. But yes, there is quite bit of open space and space between neighbours where I live at least compared to a typical inner city / soth-east suburb. It's even more deceptive in the summer when everything has sprouted and in bloom you can't really see the neighbour's gardens which normally back onto mine - you can't really see the neightbour's gardens in the photo either because everything is so white but they are closer than you'd think! You'll have to visit some time to see what I'm trying to explain in far too many words...
Noticed a little had fell earlier but payed little attention. Just looked out and the world is white again! My dog's running around the garden like a complete tit!
