Started snowing as I was on my way home... About an inch settled on higher ground just here, and it's still coming down.

Yet there are still people who think it's ok to drive three inches off your rear bumper... :(

No snow here but its cold. Everywhere is also the flooded, I don't think the sewers can cope with this much rain. Some of the road have 1 feet high puddles its almost like a small river. Only 3 months I was in Spain when it was 35c. It seems like another world. I can't imagine it being 25c out there now.

    dev,
in true net tradition i only use capitals when shouting - which i don;t do very often. however in this case my previous post is an accurate transcript of what i said when i looked out the back doors.
it's stopped snowing now but the bloody stuff has settled - hopefully we'll get a nice downpour which'll wash the stuff away. <snatch voice> i fcuking hate snow <snatch voice>
    cheers

Well it's not snowing down 'ere in Zummerzet. It's been drizzling all day though and it was blowing a gale when I got in from badminton. It only snows one day a year down here. Least it has for the last four years.

I like snow, better than bloody rain.

Issac driving too close is one of my pet hates, no matter what the weather, worst I've seen is M25, pissing rain, the bouncing kind and endless trains of large swedish and german cars going past in the fast lane litterally 8" off each others bumpers at 90mph+ and they want the Police to up speed limits, need to learn how to drive first.

i hope it snows properly this year and none of this piss poor here today gone the next.
if its gonna snow may as well snow like buggery eh?
no offence to anyone but the lack of snow in this country is just making more and more people hate it , in britian , 3 inches of snow and the country is at a stand still , people abandon their cars etc while the rest of europe can function quite normally in 3 times the amount of snow we get.
    bring it on i say.

Well, I got to work ok...

After spending 5 minutes getting into the car (the rain before the snow meant all the seals were wet and froze shut), then 10 minutes hacking the ice off and unsticking the wipers....

Saddleworth Moor at dawn covered in snow is a great thing to see on your way to work... :)
