    Hi,

I got these at a good price because they have a scruffy box, however the headphones are in perfect condition and they come with all the adapters and manual etc... They also charge up automatically when placed in the docking station which I think is a nice touch.

They are the top of the range wireless stereo headphones from AKG with a good tight low end and detail resolving ability. They also have auto tuning so you don't need to play with the dial ;)

Excellent for late night listening, computer use and movie watching without getting tangled up in wire or being restricted to one spot. I got another pair of these and am keeping them for doing recording work so whoever is performing doesn’t fall over the wires on the way to the microphone or guitar ;)

    They retail for £99 http://www.djbox.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1801/akg/k405

    Yours for £20!! :D

Interested in these, Tenson, but if you would be so kind...

Included adapters? Age? Battery type? Assuming they're getting on a bit now, average battery life you get out of them?

    Hi Mark,

The adaptors that are included are the power adaptor, an RCA to stereo mini-jack to plug the base-station / transmitter into the source and a mini-jack to standard jack adaptor. All standard stuff.

I don't think they are actually that old. I'm guessing maybe 6 months, but brand new and unused apart from me testing that they work. They use NiMh AAA rechargeable batteries (included) so they can be replaced easily if they give out on you. They claim 20 hours use. Oh, they work up to 100m.

I’m guessing postage will be around £5 - £10 by Special Delivery.

By the way I'd suggest feeding the base station with as strong a signal as you can. Being wireless they have a small amount of background hiss (all wireless 'phones seem to) and doing so will improve that.
