    great .......

    just heard one of ortofons cheap [£100] mc carts, samba?, at uncle ants ...wow great value very lush and smooth this was on a spacedec with rb 250/300? well worth the effort to listewn to if your in the market for a new cart.

    hmm, could be interested. Although, I heard MC's were not for the faint hearted. What's harder about them compared to MM? And surely my project phono box won't it justice. Although, I have just ordered this:

    i'm a bit out of touch with phono stages....as I no longer have a tt ...

    but it seems ok ...a lot will depend on the psu quality as with all preamps. Is it ready built ?

    Ask Uncle Ants..... about other phono stages !

    no i've only ordered the PCB. So I may well be asking about where to get components (caps, resistors etc.), Maplins?
    I've ordered the dedicated PSU board as well.
    I'll see what uncle ants says about it
