Two owners from new ('85 on the plinth), I bought it virtually new from the 1st owner and have used it sporadically for the past 20+ years.

Regularly serviced (when being used). Bought the Lingo from new when they were released and subsequently had the mains filter removed. It can be replaced, but having heard it in various systems back to back I would not, myself. I also bought an updated arm board and Trampolin in the 90s.

It has the corner bracing, and is a fluted Afromosia finsh. In excellent condition, with a straight sub chassis and no play in the arm or main bearing. It has perfectly reversible mods (used epoxy, which will remove) to give it a motor corner brace and a motor thrust bearing, which are not uncommon, and improve (again, IMHO) the sound.

New belt, stripdown, check and setup recently, and little use since. I need to find the felt mat, which I feel sure I will do, but at present it is wearing an aftermarket synthetic mat. Complete with Linn LP12 box, but not sure if I still have the Lingo box (or if I ever had it; the dealer may have put my Valhalla in it when it was operated on, and never seen again). No cartridge or vinyl collection to accompany, as I have moved sideways (?) to the different world of Clearaudio presentation.

Pictures to those interested. I can post at cost, based in North Yorkshire. I appreciate splitting may realise more cash, but the main constituent parts have been together so long that it seems a shame to split a very genuine deck.

    £950, anyone?

    Ian

Not a Cirkus bearing model and I never got around to buying one.
