I have for sale my rather fantastic sony DVD player.

This was a previous top of the line. Around 2000 this was the best DVD player money could buy and it still performs admirably.

Transport is silent and fast acting. All controls are working as the day they were new and even the jog shuttle on the remote works :)

This is the chipped multi region model.. not the inferior handest hack which means that unlike afore mentioned model it will output NTSC region 1 discs in RGB (scart) as well as component. (the other defaults to s-video for region 1 as americans dont use scart and the handset hack makes the player think its a US model)

It has 96/24 DAC's component out, two scarts, svideo out, and built in dolby digital decoding (which i must also say is excellent)

Picture and sound quality give any current sub £200 player a run for its money and two channel audio playback really is remarkably good (enough to make me almost rethink the buying of a new roksan cd player)

Was £550 new chipped.... asking only £75 plus P&P

thats right £75!!!!! for a damn good DVD player... and it betters most £200 or less CD players too.

I have one of these and can recommend it - admirable performer (hifi world classic status I think) great specs, great picture and imo one of Sonys best efforts in a long while.

£75 - anyone would be nuts not to take up this offer.

thanks for the encouragement :) i think its a bargain too.

And worth it for the CD playback alone.. let alone a DVD player... digital processor and overall lovely bit of kit :)
