Sony SCD-XA3000ES SACD/CD player

I have a 2yr old Sony XA-3000es SACD/CD player for sale. In black, as new condition. All boxes, remote, manuals etc.

I've decided to go for a combined DVD and SACD player to get rid of a unit from my hi-fi rack, so this is now surplus.

It's a superb sounding player, great reviews (Hi-fi choice best buy recommended Feb 06, "If you're serious about SACD, this is an excellent choice, and superb value for money.").

New retail price is £800.

At the moment it's a Marantz 8400, feeding an apogee mini-dac for the redbook CD. I'd like to get my hands on a marantz SA11 though, for the balanced output on SACD (the Electrocompaniet amps have balanced inputs). I think the Marantz midrange suits the EC amps well.

I'd still prefer not to drop that low, but thanks for the offer. I think I'll move it on to ebay when I get a chance.

 

I used to have one of these ... leaving aside the SACD capability, its a superb redboook CD machine for the money.
