My point really was similar to dean.l's; that it is not just Iraq that has messed up people doing horrible things to each other. You see, my first reaction to the article was 'man these Iraqis are messed up people! I'm glad its not like that here.' but then I thought about it and realised people are not necessarily any more civilised in Britain.
