but the silly thing is they kind of have an excuse (new laws etc) we don't.

I once tried stopping this bloke from beating the hell out of his girlfriend, all I did was pull him off of her, the police were there and they had a go at me ?? not him.

afterwards they let him go off with her because she said it was ok

(through fear no doubt)

anyway my point is maybe the surrounding people were scared themselves. from getting arrested or shot or getting beaten too.

these police they mention could well have been 2 blokes by themselves.

I don't think I could stop an angry mob with rocks.

which I have if I am not mistaken seen in the news before in this country. (insert any number of riots here).
