    Spare a thought today,

For the brave soldiers that gave their lives 60 years ago today for our liberty.
Also for the ones who survived and carry those terrible memmories.
Brave people, each and every one of them.

    Hear hear, Sir!!

May we long remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country, and spare a thought for all those in harms way at this moment.

    Respect

    Well said.

The times those men AND women witnessed and lived through are beyond the comprehension of many of us to day and so very taken for granted I think.

    They deserve our respect.

    I agree 100%.

It's just a shame that we are about the throw away all that they fought for by handing over Britain on a platter to the very people the fought to save us from.

    Shame on us all.

    Thought spared.

I'm just glad to see Dubbya didn't try and compare his "war" to this. The toughts are obviously there for todays troops. But I was expecting him to compare the fight for freedom. Good to see even a fool of his scale can see this, or at least his PR people did.
