Just too damn big for my listening room. Restricts speaker placement too much :( - sadly, it has to go! FS: Speakercraft Tantra 12 Subwoofer Website: http://www.speakercraft.com/tantra/#Products:16:TS%2012 Made in Sunny California! RRP 00 in the USA, £2000 in the UK. 500W internal amp - 12 inch aluminium cone, 2 large ports. Remote control of volume, phase and equalisation settings. Moves serious amounts of air. :MILD: £400 for a quick sell. (Stupid price for an awesome sub!) Happy to consider swappsies. As new, I think - gloss/piano black - looks simply stunning. From up close there's faint whoosh sound - an internal fan? Not a problem, imho. In my house, there is a low level transformer-type buzz - but many transformers do buzz in my place, sadly. Inaudible when music is playing, except at very low levels when it may just be heard. Will probably not buzz at all in most homes - I'm always getting a problem with this out in the backwoods, where I live. Weighs about 35Kg, I think - something like that anyway - a bit big for a 1 man lift - but dead easy with 2 people. 12†Long Throw Aluminum Cone Woofer Variable Low Pass Crossover: 40Hz - 120kHz High Pass Crossover: 60Hz - 160kHz Impedance: 4 Ohms Power Rating: 500 Watts Magnetically Shielding Dimensions: W 17 1⁄2†x H 17 1⁄2†x D 19 11⁄16†(W 444.5mm x H 444.56mm x D 500.06mm) Buyer collects (Glos GL17 - if only 'cos I'll need help moving it!)
