as above, i want to try something different.

looking for floor or stand mount, big or small, square or round it doesnt matter.

would also be nice to try something i havnt had before, never owned monitor audio, sonus faber, ms, linn (except kans), newer b&w, proac and many others.

royd, epos, ae, jamo (concert) etc are always welcome too. basically, anything decent quality.

im setting my budget at £600 max. there is no minimum price.

i like speakers that can rock, make hairs stand up on my neck and go loud but sound good quiet.

i dont mind the odd mark etc so let me know what youve got.

Are you still looking for some different speakers?

May have some Triangle Norma Speakers coming up for sale around £250 posted.

I have some ATC SCM12s and some AVI Pro Nine Plus. Both in Cherry and in very good condition.

ATCs can really rock if you have a powerful amp to drive them. they have a same 75/150 'super linear' mid/woofer used in the classic 20SL model. £550 ono

AVIs are a bit more of a detailed speaker although can punch out some SPL when called for. £300 ono

The Kef Reference series do all of the above.

There are generally a set of ones or twos on ebay for £500.

I would recommend that the twos are a big step up from the ones.

:D you know me and royds steve.

the only little hang up ive got with your rr1's is how much they have in common with minstrels. the only royd that wont work for me!

i'd love to hear them in my room mate. but buying them before i try them is madness for me.

but if you happen to be passing? :JPS:
