Funny Andy you're having a similair problem to me in that the bass can overwhelm the room. I've moved them out a foot further but that's my lot as far as SWMBO is concerned, and there's no room for plinths really or Mana, it'd be an absolute nightmare if not impossible getting it level on an uneven sandstone floor. It's much better now, but still not perfect, especially on bass heavy tracks.

I've even once or twice considered changing them again, but then I put something on and they sound so beguiling that I soon forget that idea. I've sort of compromised in that there is obviously a big room node in my room, but unusually it's the ceiling that's the problem, I've got beams and not so solid floors up above, so it's this vibrating. TBH I can't see whatever I do making much difference to this. Guess I'll just have to live with it.

Did you get the spikes n' stuff sorted?
