sky one, it starts soon - can't remember when. they are showing last seasons finale and then the new series so probably tomorrow and next week but not 100%.
to be honest i felt enterprise was even worse than ds9 and i though tthat was utter poop. give me 't.o.s.', 't.n.g.' or voyager by preference. and that bloody theme tune is rank.
    cheers

I think Enterprise has now been cancelled, so enjoy the last series...

Yeah, some fans printed a full page advert in the New York Times screaming SAVE STAR TREK!!

    Funnily enough, nobody cares!

The first series was indeed truly awful - so they never managed to drag it up to some sort of quality later on? Not entirely surprised really, the franchise IMO has had its day.

My girls are big Trek fans, but even they watch "Enterprise" only out of morbid curiosity to see whether it can actually get worse. When you start getting nostalgic for "Voyager", you know things must really be bad...

I don't think the franchise is permanently dead, but it clearly needs a rest of a few years and some new ideas. The present powers that be (Berman and Braga) clearly are totally bereft thereof.

i just keep expecting a hologram to pop up talking to 'ziggy' and for the captain to 'leap'.

all in all it's crap on so many levels i'll probably take a similar morbid curiosity in it for the first couple of episodes but eventually drift off to do something more interesting like scratching my arse perhaps?

if voyager was star trek: red dwarf then enterprise is star trek: das boot lite.
    cheers

If it's that much more interesting, can I scratch it too, please?

sorry tones, after intense atkinisation it's now only big enough for one to scratch. i suggest you invest in some ill fitting underwear and cultivate your own irritations to scratch.
    cheers

That's an unfortunate exchange...you realise now that every time a Star Trek episode comes on I'm going to think about scratching one's arse.....
