    Its the last series too, the idiots have gone an cancelled it, so that's it no more trek, it lasted for 40? years and they've just killed it off, so all we get now is cr@p like Star gate and Alias and all the other bs going around, oh well, could think about cancelling the cable subscription then.

    stargate is actully not too awful it's getting me hooked - certainly better than enterprise imho but ymmv. there's also battlestar galactica, the 4400 and others which make non terrestrial tv a goer if you can spare the cash.

    I quite like Stargate but not in an obsessive fanboy way, more often than not I use it as a timer when starting to cook the Sunday roast.

    Pitty about McGyver last week - but at least he saved the world a lot.
