well its taken its time I wonder why its been so long coming....

meant to be darker than the previous two, hopefully little of that ja ja biggs character....

should be fun, I am looking forward to it.

BTW, I am pretty naive and innocent, but I saw film 1 on dvd again the other nite at a friends, and he reckons its stereotypical typecasting, I suppose its quite obvious now....

he says the aggressors are modelled on the japanese/chinese...

the gungans speak in pidgeon english and are black slaves almost...

and annekin's master, that flying insect thing is modelled off a jew, I noticed the hook nose....

listen to the voices...quite obvious really.....never occured to me...

May the Fourth be with you.

Yep, still makes me smile every year :)

Is there any chance that George has delivered The Film I Have Been Waiting For Since I Was Ten Years Old ?

I really hope so - I was 7 when the original came out and I dread to think how often I've watched it (and Empire) since.

Never liked Jedi - the f***** Ewoks were simply a very annoying marketing tool, and so far episodes 1 & 2 were quite simply dreadful.

Lucas owes it to us 30 somethings - stuff the kids.

Alternatively I might actually realise how old I am and grow up - although I doubt it.

Chances are that Lucas is still in love with CGI and has forgotten the basics of good story telling; plot and character development. Sad, but the Force has definately left the building. :(

it has an 'opera scene' - this does NOT bode well imo. i'll still go and see it AND buy it on dvd special edition, just for completeism, sad fanboy that i am. now, where's my wookie suit.
    cheers
