    Hello all,

I am just starting my own business supplying and installing wireless music systems (Roku is preferred as I can get them at trade prices).

I am mainly selling them to those without the hifi bug so it probably won't be of interest to any of you directly, but maybe to friends/relatives who don't want big systems.

More details on my (basic) website or drop me a PM

Am sticking to the Newcastle/Northumberland area at the moment, if any of you know of someone who may be interested, please let me know. I'm only charging cost prices for the components and installation is only £50 at the start.

I am also offering a CD-ripping service as part of this so there is literally no effort involved for those interested (parents maybe?)

No computer knowledge required, I will set up the wireless network (and buy the router if required), install the software, set it all up and rip the cd's.

    Thanks

    Andrew

p.s. Thanks to the mods for letting me post this, really appreciate it!!

Good luck with your new venture.
Have you tried putting an free ad in the trade classified section of AV Forums at http://www.avforums.com ?
It has a huge user base and wide range of interests. Remember to read their rules.

Thanks for the tip, I have emailed the Mods there and apparently they don't allow trade adverts and suggested I take out a banner at £200 per month!!

Luckily the Mods here are much more helpful and I can only thank them!

I know that it is a commercial forum but asking someone, who is starting up a business on a local basis, for £200 per month is stupid salesmanship.

I added the URL for M-Audio Group to my signature and made some posts at various forums for a few weeks. That brought in over 70 members after 2 months. :D I don't actively promote it now but membership has crept up to near 90.
