We are possibly looking to move house shortly to something bigger. To raise some extra funds I am putting some kit up for sale.

I have a Stax 4040 MkII electrostatic headphone system that has seen little use since purchase last year. It is in mint condition and comes complete with all original packaging etc. It is without doubt the finest headphone setup i've ever heard.

My unit is identical to the black one in the review. A rare finish that was commissioned by Howard Popeck @ Listen Carefully. I am led to understand he wasn't a fan of the champagne finish - I happen to agree.

These rarely come up for sale. Current RRP is £1k. Will sell for £550 inc insured delivery. NOW SOLD.

I've never seen one for sale this cheap. This is a bargain.
