Do these little boxes still measure up against modern competition from other makers?

These are the speakers I presently aspire to own. One day fairly soon I shall have the cash and a pair will be mine, preferably in Ebony finish.

 

You have heard them, then. Tell us, do.

 

i still have a pair of kef's LS 3/5A'S In mahogany that my wife uses, awesome they are.

 

I'd like to hear the Stirling.
Not a fan of the LS3/5 though i can appreciate the good bit so i'd be interested to see if a more modern take gives a better balanced compromise.
