Thats gigs not till 9:00-2:00am but before hand I wanted to sit in the pub gardens drinking beer, though I guess we still can as long as the rain stays away.

Now I wonder how much £20 will last me since I will be drinking for 8 hours.

it was such a nice afternoon i decided to bike over to the next village - where my daughter goes to school to pick her up and drop her off at my mums for the weekend. now i'm relaxing with buffy seasons 4-6 which hit the mat this morning (a bargain at 18 quid each http://www.dvd.co.uk/product.asp?id=23561PDVD ).
hopefully i'll get an early night ready for tomorrow....
    cheers

    julian.

    Hi,

I've been relaxing in the sun today. Getting ready for a night out with mates. A few beers and a curry. Just like last night.

An easy day tommorrow, SWMBO has plans elsewhere. Some ale in an air-conditioned pub, and home to ring for 2 Taj Mahal tickets next weekend..

WOW thats a hot one, not a particularly nice day as such, more very humid and cloudy than a nice crisp summers day, but hey, it'll do.

Decided to do the garden (was going to a nice BBQ but the Mrs is ill :( ) - given the heat that wasn't a good idea :inferno:

Its absolutely baking here today, walked into town earlier to do some shopping, absolutely swarming with people. Later I'm off to a barbeque, a few mates and some beers..should be a laugh.

n some ways I'm glad its so humid, I'm off to Memphis for a fortnight on Wednesday and its been up to 35 degrees with 80 percent humidity over there . I think I'll probably melt :(

Its nice and sunny here, a few clouds, I was in Manchester city centre before and looked at the temperature outside Portland Tower and it said 33c. The worst thing is they reckon its going to get hotter into the night so by 19:00 it could easily reach 35/36c in the sun. Even by 22:00 its going to be at least 27c here in Manchester according to the BBC.

Sunny here too. A bit of freelance work in the morning today, then into town to pick up some more tunes, an iPod skin, some new sunnys (bloody coating peeled off lenses of the last lot). Home now - a beer and a bit of music. Out shortly to catch up with a mate for some grub and a rake of beer!

is the pain i now feel worth the fun i had last night? this is the question that haunts me this morning.... i feel it is but i'm not doing an 8 hour party and 2 hours of after party and then a day with no sleep ever again. bk was good but ms pin-up was absolutely amazing. i'm going to watch more buffy now as there is no chance of me sleeping with all the red bull, pro plus and echinacea sloshing about inside me. hopefully i'll get a couple of hours kip on the couch before sunday dinner.... actually no, i've got a totally empty fridge so tescos it is then.... bollocks.
    cheers

well, hope you lot had a great weekend..!!

mine was ok, buty I was on call (but not called out luckily!) - so, I was unable to drink...

I only had a touch of rain where I live too...but had a problem with a wet kitchen floor...wasn't sure if it was from the washer or the fridge...anyway, got up this morning and it was all dry...
