Oops - found a small, jagged tear in one of my mid-range rubber surrounds. It's approx. 3 mm in length, and I have no idea how it occurred, or how long ago; I haven't heard any change in sound. Does anyone have any experience with a repair to surrounds - I would think a rubber cement of some type might suffice, but I worry about making it worse - any suggestions?

Use rubber solution from bike puncture repair kits.
Apply to the rear of the surround tear sparingly with a small brush-you only want to seal and hold the roll together so use as small an amount as possible.
