    Little to pick, the 25 has a bit more drive, the IIx has a bit more air and space. If you said sell it and buy a P7 it would have been a very different response.

    Thanks for that. Think I'll wait a month or so when I'll have more disposable cash. Let's say £1200-1500 for 2nd hand turntable . . . any suggestions as disability means demo's are not an option.

    I would look at the Kuzma Stabi S, Michell Orbe, VPI Scout and SME 10 (if you can find one at the price).

    Pity you can not dem easily, do you have any local dealers who may let you listen at home.

    At the moment their is a huge choice of decks, both used and new,
    New P7, Gyro, Acoustic sig challenger, used- loads around. For my choice I prefer something that looks like de ck, with a bit of drive to the sound, and is fit and forget. Rega P7 or the Acoustic signature Challenger probably be my choices.
