I have arrived a little late on the T Amp scene and had one delivered today.

Anybody know where I can source a 12v 2amp DC mains adapter?

    Maplin is your best bet.

I got a £15 1200mah regulated adaptor for mine which sounds great. They had a 1500mah version for £25, and I am sure they would have had a 2000mah as well.

Supposedly, they sound better the more ampage you run through them. I wanted a reasonably portable solution, which is why I went for the 1200mah one.

I was under the impression that you would be putting the T Amp in danger by using less than a 2 amp 12v adapter, obviously not!

I've found an old Canon printer Power Supply rated at 13v 1.8A with the correct polarity and it fits the power input socket on the T Amp, will this be OK to use?

    Thanks.

Check out the TNT website - I think that they used a 13.4V supply with no problems.

The Tripath spec sheet for the TA2024 chip says a 12V power supply (not to exceed 13.2V)
