    If you don't mind buying new, the Sonus R4 (Sonus was built from the ashes of Target) is a modern day replica of the R1 and you won't be able to tell them apart.

    Hi Merlin

    The stands are only a stop gap for a short period until i move on to some floorstanders so trying to find a decent used pair of R1's and avoid shelling out for some new ones!
