tech help-tape outs,only got one

    On my amp,and I need 2,one for the headphone amp,and one for the MD

    where and what do I buy? A splitter of some sort?

    QED sell a box to split a single tape-out into two, independently switchable. That's what I use, it works fine.

    Alternatively, you could use a pair of Y connectors, possibly not as good an approach though.

    I'm glad I'm not the only person who finds a single tape-out one too few.

    Yeah I had one of those once so I could do analogue recording to tape or MD and between them - worked fine. Can't remember but I think it was in the £30 to £40 mark - got it from Richers.

    What headphone amp are you using? I know the Creek and the Musical Fidelity models allow you to use a tape deck because they have 'pass through' connectors. This means you connect the inputs of the headphone amp to the tape output on your main amp, and the output of the head amp to the inputs on your tape deck.
