    Those Ortofons aren't really very good - the Audio Technica ATP-2XN are vastly better and considerably cheaper as well!

    I believe Grado make some decent DJ cartridges, too, Mike.

    Actually, if you listen primarily to dance music, particularly 12" singles, then it makes sense to have a cartridge that reproduces the music as intended. You can then use a 'hi-fi' cartridge as back up.

    This is one of the benefits of using an arm with a detachable headshell.
