I agrees with her in a roundabout way. This generation of career MPs we get are only good enough to be reacting to peoples worries and passions. They are not really leaders of the society. People who are worried enough about certain things usually took steps do something them long before MPs decided to jump onto the bandwagon. So as she says don't wait around hoping the goverment will cure all society ills.
