Commiserations I just hope its not as bad as it sounds and the toddler managed to get out of the way of the toppling speaker

Cheers. I've 14 month twins and it seems it was my son. He's built like a tank and no harm done apparently. To be fair my wife had warned Me it may happen. And I haven't done anything as, quite frankly, I don't know what to do. Short of putting them in the attic until they leave home! (The speakers not the babies!)

You need bigger speakers they can't push over.

You might loose the toddler in to the port! He / She also might have bad dreams about such a beast!

My girlfriend knocked one of my tannoy dimensions over recently, but it turned out to be my fault, because I had put it too near the front door, so I was told!

    My speakers weigh 212kg each;)

A toddler could perhaps climb them and fall off, but not push them over.

Not a speaker, but a prized B&O telly that was slid off the cabinet and somersaulted on the floor, taking a top model Panasonic video machine with it - both written off and replaced with cheapies which are still running twelve years on. Sonny-Jim was eighteen months old at the time and wifey had left him quietly for no more than thirty seconds. later on, he pushed the soft tweeter domes in on the ATC's, which were easily re-formed with no audible damage...
