I ummed and aahed after reading loads of reviews saying they're the future of jazz n'all, but bought their album "These are the Vistas"..
It says on the back "Power Piano Trio", which is exactly what they are - serious modern jazz, with covers of things like "Smells like Teen Spirit" and "Heart of Glass", so not quite dinner jazz.
In fact I had to turn it off after Heart of Glass, it was that heavy!
You wouldn't think piano, bass and drums could make such a remarkable racket - they make Motorhead seem like Kajagoogoo..
    (Well almost)
Heartily recommended - I gather their next album (whatever it's called) has Black Sabbath covers on it - you have been warned..

I like These Are The Vistas, especially the cover of Aphex Twin's "Flim". The later record is the same thing over again, but not done as well. They can play, but they're a bit of a one-trick pony.
