Went to see Sweden's, The Concretes last night at the Rescue Rooms. Fantastic gig - kinda hairslide indie rock with horns and harmonies. Probably appeal to B&S fans. Have to say one of the most enjoyable gigs I've been to in some time. They were absolutely captivating from start to finish - recommended.

    Hi, new here.
Saw them towards the end of last year in Manchester. Like you say, captivating. Did a cover of 'Miss you' by the stones which was blinding. Album is one of my favourites from last year.

They didn't do Miss You, but their support act (tall blonde attractive and slightly fey lady in a red corduroy frock) gets top marks for the most gratuitous use of the word "Cock" in an seemingly sweet ballad.
