It's hard to take in that it is now 50 years since the untimely demise of Buddy Holly - my first real passion in music. He took pop music to a new level and excelled as an entertainer. His songs were performed with a bounce and so full of humour. I still enjoy playing his music and I bet it will still be entertaining in 50 years time.
