After the previous discussions, let's give this a go...

The vBulletin license for ZeroGain is about to expire. A new license costs £45 for the year or £85 for a permanent license. Obviously we'd like the latter so we don't have to do this again.

As there was some support for a donation basis, let's give this a go. This only needs 17 people to donate £5 apiece. We'll run on a thermometer basis, just aiming for the £85 at this time, and see how we go.

    Any pledges?

Isaac can we have PMd pledges, and a thermometer update on the thread?

Some might be embarrased by posting how much they can spend.

    Would that be ok?

Yes, no problems if people would rather pm any pledges. I will update with what has been pledged.

    We're up to £15

I've just bought the license, and it was £82 rather than £85, so we're not doing too bad.

A kind request to anyone who's sold things through the forums here and expects to continue to do so... just think what a certain auction site would charge!

I feel very guilty but with the holiday I just don't have any spare cash at the moment, if I am working by the the time of the next donation drive I will donate.

I am just having to raise as much money as possible at the moment by selling stuff.
