    Anyone here liking The Fratellis? I learned of them some time in 2005, got their first album "Costello Music", in my opinion (but this is a matter of taste) one of the better new bands around these times with a tight, get-up-and-go sound but still rough around the edges, their style can get tired after awhile though--some might label them a one-trick-pony band, but nevertheless good in my opinion, with the more popular:
    Chelsea Dagger
    Whistle for the Choir
    Flathead
    Creepin' up the Backstairs

    Their second album "Here We Stand" in my opinion didn't live up to their debut effort though;

    Anyone else?

    Costello Music was good. But like so many new bands this decade the second album just doesn't progress enough. Only one exception to that rule I know of is Bat For Lashes.

    hi My Friend (drummer) John, ok pardon the pun, yes I don't know what it is, there are so many that subsequent releases don't cut it like the first album; Bat for Lashes you say, I have to check that out some time soon;

    Sometimes after listening to all that Jazz, Orchestral, vocal works that really make my kit sing, it's still good to let loose and thump out some noisy Rock or Punk or Electronica/House some mindless get drunk/stoned, turn up the volume dial and let 'er rip music, hey speaking of which, imho one which has stood the test of time is Greenday, picked up on them way back, and still listen to them now :D
