Hi,
as it's now December i thought i'd bring this old chestnut out for a good roasting so... what's your favourite Yule tide tune(s)?
for me it would have to be:
The Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping
Kirsty Macoll and shane mcgowan - fairy tale of new york
Slade - merry christmas.. (noddy's pension or whatever it's called)
Band Aid - Do they know... (the original)

I think my favourite christmas song has to be Fairy Tail of New York by The Pogues/Kirsty McColl.

Its just so refreshing as thats what christmases are usualy like. I mean how often do we have a white christmas where all family hugs round the log fire in front of somer old Bing Crosby film?

 

Ultimate for me (and not only at christmas) Greg Lake, I believe in Father Christmas, one of my all time fave songs.

but i do like some of the proper christmas songs as well ie carols
classic fm's carols is a cracker there all there and well recorded to

 

Don't knock old Harry Webb he can crack out a belting tune. I have to see that otherwise my mum will kill me.
