Not exactly a blizzard, but we are only a couple of miles from the sea so it doesn't happen very often!

Nice to see snow in Devon, we don't get a lot of it, and I don't remember the last time we saw it in November, like you say not much to shout about but still nice, we're expecting more so I'm told.[IMG]

lhatkins, you've either got a tardis or the timestamp on your camera is a day ahead. I fancy the latter as the more plauseable explanation :)

No snow as yet in Norfolk but maybe some soon

A light covering here in South Wales. Seems warmer today than it has over the last week or so. They're saying to expect one of the coldest winters of recent years.

Any minute now, I'm expecting Michael to tell us how warm and sunny it is in Lisbon, even in November. :D.

Well we know it's a national disaster if the Southeast has a frost.

It just started snowing in downtown Paris. A rare occurrence. Ruins my bike outing tomorrow morning and will not hold.

A few brief flurries last night here in Aberystwyth, nothing major though - the little that had 'stuck' had melted by 11 o'clock this morning. Its the most snow I've seen here mind you, being by the sea the climate here is always fairly mild compared to inland areas :)

Nothing... sky has been clear all day here. It's icy and cold, but no snow. I think we're being shielded by the highlands here.

It would be worse if us Southerners stopped using the subdued 'ahh' sound before soft consonants. To always use the aggressive 'aghh' sound ,no matter whether the subsequent consonants were soft or hard, would make us seem backward and somewhat northern.

The 'a' in bath and path and pass and last should not sound the same as the 'a' in tap and rat and dumb prat.

To demand that it does is tantamount to demanding that the world recognises your ignorance.

We precious Southerners need to be kept warm because we are clearly more valuable. The Gulf Stream is our heritage, Blackpool and bitterness is yours.
