the lemond v fignon tour was amamzing, the final day the final two riders and greg pulls out some tri style bars and puts about a minute on fignon. simply the best tv i have ever watched!

role on the tour, eurosport has it live everyday so i'll be watching all day, (the only good thing for being on sick leave for the next few weeks)

Pantani absolutely cranking up the mountains in 99.
Lance giving Ullrich 'the eye' a couple of years ago before dropping him in the mountains.
Beloki falling and Lance going cross country.
All a bit recent but can't think of any of the old stuff as I didn't know what was going on!

Best /worst moment for me was my first trip to watch the Tour in the Alps the first year that Boardman was a serious contender . He blew up badly and was 30 mins down at the bottom of the last climb at Les Arcs . A group of Brits including me gave him a cheer but he glanced over and just shook his head to indicate his tiredness .Also the same day that Big Mig blew up and it was the beginning of the end of his career.
Went home and bought a titanium bike!!

Looks like Voight's taken the lead from Armstrong..
We'll see what happens in the alps, but the Discovery team didn't do well on the German hills!

And what are ITV thinking of - putting the highlights on at 11.30? No wonder they get no viewers...
But then, having had some experience of this, TV schedulers seem to come form the same planet as town planners :D

very interesting day, armstrong and discovery will be happy to be out of yellow as that will force other teams defend it and therefore they get some rest in. the alps will be good, LA should be able to take a minute out of voight in the TT but that still leaves 90 seconds, hmmm, roll on ;-)

Well LL's still got a 2min 46sec lead with only a couple of days to go and only 3 weeks ago I didn't give him a chance.

Looks like he might have it, barring any unpleasantness.
Still, if he retires after winning again it should give someone else a chance next year!

Does it mean Lance is the greatest ever?
    Better than Eddie Mercx? (Spelling?)

I wonder if LL (Lance Legstrong) will win a Stage ?

I know the Tour has been won a handful of times before without the winner taking a single stage but it is unusual.

Was Greg Lemond the last ?
