I saw them play on Friday and they were extremely professional but also had a lot of energy and magic about them. Their set was very good considering they have only one studio album. The only down side to them is they are scousers :D

    (Just kidding I love scouers)

How did you guess? But yes its the 12" Blue Monday cover. I choose it because it probably the most famous New Order sleeve plus the fact it is a brilliant song.

I thought they were from the Wirral (or is that The Coral?)- so not exactly scousers - cutest sax player I ever saw though ;)

They had a scouse accent but then anything west of Warrington sounds scouse to me :)

Yeah that saxophone player is cute, much sexier than any members of Madness.

    "Soon to become big?"

They've not been doing too bad for themselves for a while now!

One of my fav "indie" bands of recent times.

Do a search of the forums. They've been mentioned a few times.

I will do, what I mean't by big is number one albums etc. I would like to see them commericaly at the same level as the Doves so you can see them in smaller venues but people know who you're talking about.

The sad thing is since the Manchester gig I attend on Friday the band have got the flu and have had to cancel the rest of the tour. I only heared this second hand though so I am not sure how accurate it is.

I think that's accurate about them cancelling some tour dates. I'm on the mailing list and think I recieved an email a few days ago about it. Only read the title and deleted it though.

Have you heard the album? It's a good mix of nice catchy tunes that seem to fly by. Well worth a listen.

Seen them interviewed a few times and they seem like nice people too.

    Re-scheduled dates....

The Zutons have re-scheduled their sold out shows that were recently cancelled, due to drummer Sean Payne being struck down by a severe viral infection.

    December:
    Saturday 11th Dublin Ambassador
    Sunday 12th Derry Nerve Centre
Monday 13th Belfast - The Spring & Airbrake
Wednesday 15th London Shepherds Bush Empire
Friday 17th Liverpool Royal Court Theatre
Saturday 18th Liverpool Royal Court Theatre
    Tuesday 21st Cambridge Junction

Original tickets remain valid for the re-scheduled shows.

The band will also be special guests for Muse at Earls Court, London on the 19th and 20th of December.
