Why not show the evidence to the police instead?

They're not interested. Someone would have to die I'm sure to get them out.
I wish I could issue section 5 public order offences when we get sworn at.
That young lady wil be leaving us to go to a PRU. That was basically the end of the road for her. She won't be coming back.

That word No. Most kids look at you like you're a mentalist, like they've never heard it said to them before.

Our neighbours kids, bear in mind the neighbours are nice people, quite cultured and very into cuisine, the kids eat nothing but smiley face "potato" thingy's, chicken nuggets and baked beans, with huge pots of mayo. Their parents never ever ever push the point with them. If the kids dont want to do something, or do want to do something, or dont want to eat something, the answer is always YES.

I take great delight in saying No to our kids and anyone else's who happen to be at our place. As you can expect I'm hugely popular amongst the local "youngsters"

i won;t say no just for the sake of it and i always try to explain my reasons if i do say no or issue a warning about something to try to get my kid to buy into the reason why. i'll also try to make the consequences of continued whining aobut something already denied plain as well.
i think a lot of unchecked public bad behaviour is down to parental embarassment - if they let their kid continue to misbehave then they can pretend that they didn;t know about it. kind of the ostrich aproach.
kids also get bored very quickly when they are out and this can lead to bad behaviour. i always try to engage my kid in what i'm doing - i.e. if we go shopping at the supermarket (which she hates ) we'll leave looking at the toys / books etc. until last and only if she's been good , she's allowed one sweetie / treat and when it comes to packing the shopping away she helps by holding the trolley steady (not striclty necessary but it gives her somethign to do). this keeps her busy and therefore out of trouble. i'm not expecting it to work for much longer though.

Drunk people who use it as an excuse to continually be muppets! "Sorry man, I was wasted", might sort of work as an excuse the first time, but if it happens often, then they should realise it and not get into that state!

People (especially when drunk) who think that you (me) are there to take shít off them. You give me shít, you're out the door.

This thread is going to last forever, we're all going to hate this thread soon.

TESCO. I despise Tesco and refuse to shop there. They're a bad, bad company.

I also dislike whatever planning permission legislation that allows Tesco, or any other supermarket but particularly Tesco, build new stores. Do we really need more? How many supermarkets does a town need?

Back in the real world....not all parents are particularly good at influencing children in the right way.

I personaly dont eat MacDs/KFC etc but the sheer number of kids I see in there when I drive past astounds me.

I doubt that telling kids not to eat at McD's is high up the list of ANY parents attempts to raise their kids (especially at 5 or 6)....and all the while that funny clown or 'im lovin' it' jingle is aimed squarely at their impressionable heads. sheesh.

I also hate tescos the management of each store is always very poor, the quality of food is very poor and the general layout and purchasing experience is poor, very poor.

I shop at waitrose it costs more, but I am not frazzled at the end of it and the quality of food is worth the extra 10-15%

Ive gotta say I dont mind Tescos. Its a capitalist world we live in and these guys are winning at the moment.

Now, Asda! God I hate Asda.

I do wish we had a waitrose closeby though. I would change shops for the quality.

People who moan about cyclists. At least cyclists are doing something for their health and the health of others by making the air cleaner.People who buy gas guzzlers when they dont really need them especially people who drive those Mitsu****si Warriors TWATS.People who let their dogs bark all the time ...infact dogs in general, they should all be culled. The only dogs we should have and breed are dogs for the blind and police dogs etc. The rest should be wiped out as they are pointless epecially bull terriers...what is the piont of those.

i've never really seen the point of dogs but then again i couldn't really see the attraction of having children 'till i did.

the fact that MOTD time on a sunday morning tends to move around and i often end up missing pompey

At least with children you only have to clear up their sh*t for the first couple of years! I don't have anything against dogs particularly, but dog crap everywhere is no joke. I think if people get caught not picking up the offending turds they should have the dogs taken away from them and be banned from owning them ever again. And I would like my kids to be able to run around on grassy areas without fear of them ending up with stinking sh*t all over them.

MOTD on a sunday was a revelation when that came about; suddenly I wasn't bothered about being woken up a 7am by my very noisy child, but yes, I've missed big chunks of it too when they shift the start time - although missing Pompey has never struck me as being a bad thing, unless they happen to have been playing lovely lovely Liverpool :)p to Chelsea BTW, and nice to see Jose taking the defeat like a grown up, not, ha ha.).

The only possible way that I can see a cyclist as doing something for their health and the health of others by making the air cleaner. is if they act as filters to take the heavy particulates out of the air that the rest of us are putting in with our gas guzzlers. So thank you very much.

Sorry to say it, but I agree! I know of a few dogs I don't mind, but I'd much rather not have to deal with any of them - all that stupid "look at me I'm great" braindead servility and obeyance - the dog poo is the icing on the cake for me.

Give me cats any day of the week...

As for Tescos/garages - damn right - the all night garage near us became a Tesco Metro a few years back, and it SUCKS. And closes at 11. At least the staff in there are polite - they make the ones in Scum-erfield look like neanderthals...

I know this thread is a bit of a joke and I'm sure I shouldn't have to say it but firstly...its the dog owners that are the issue. Its not the dogs that are the problem. Owning a well behaved and good mannered dog is an absolute pleasure and causes no harm to anyone. Responsible owners will make sure dog poop is picked up or out of the way. Don't glare at the dog...glare at the dckhed smoking a fag and sitting on the park bench.

Secondly, be aware that most cyclists who consider themselves Cyclists are well aware of the rules of the road and brideway. People who ride bikes on the pavement are usually just trying to get to the pub quicker by freewheeling down the hill and consider a bike as perfectly acceptable on the pavement. This is not representative of cyclists generally. Cycling is a pleasurable, healthy and environmentally friendly way to travel and should be encouraged.

Also its great fun weaving in and out of traffic while motorists sit in the jams so maybe you should drag your fat ars out of your car and give it a go sometime :JPS:

What psses me off!? Ignorant w@nkers who are the cause of all the problems listed here. The world is full of them unfortunately.
