    In the Ming Da thread there was quite a bit of interest in what amounts to a mini-bakeoff type affair.

    I know about Rsand, T-bone Sanchez and ChrisPa, is there anyone else interested in coming? If you want to come post here please. I know it's a weekday, but if I waited for a free weekend we'd be looking towards June!

    I didnt mean to sound cheeky when I jumped in on this! Id like to come along if its ok, Im in Chorley which isnt too far from Heywood, should be ok for the 10th.

    No everyone is welcome. I'll PM directions out a bit nearer the time. I'm 10 minutes away from the M66, and 5 minutes from the M62

    Well I'm at school, and I don't think the head will give me time off to play hi-fi! so I'm looking at 7pm onwards. Be good to see you there. You can tell me whether I've got the ML's any better sorted

    I'm vaguely hopeful I might have got a rack by then as well, if I can find something cheap enough on ebay. Mrs Summit thinks the valves are pretty enough to go on display

    Yes, they don't seem to get that hot with safety cover on, and they look at their best with their cover on. They've never killed themselves on the wood burner, so I think they understand hot. That and food, and walkies
