We're meeting in the evening Jon, I'm not sure how the trains work over to where you are....... Where in the south-east are you, perhaps you could stay somewhere, I'd offer you a bed, but I'm at work in the morning and me and the isb (infinitely superior being at least that's what she says) have to leave very early, perhaps someone else could oblige?

Thanks that's very good of you to suggest that but really I'd never want to be any trouble and if you are making it an evening bash (not surprising really given it's a weekday!) then I guess it's probably going to be fairly impractical for me.

Anyway for the record I live in Herts just to the north of London but I would have got to Euston and jumped on a Pendolino up to Piccadilly then somehow got to your place from there but hey, another time maybe!

two choices. you can get a tram from picadilly which gets you into Bury, , or there's Rochdale which doesn't have such a frequent service which is a bit nearer. Both options have buses running past the end of my lane, or if you could get here by 6.30 I could pick you up, and be back in time for everyone else.
